Hydroelectric Pumped Storage and Generation Facility – Southern California Metering and Totalizer System using IEC 61850 GOOSE and Modbus TCP
- Designed and developed a power and water totalizer metering system using SEL-735 revenue metering devices and IEC 61850 GOOSE protocol to perform energy and water flow totalization for both pumping and generation units.
- Programmed all SEL-735 meters with custom logic, IEC 61850 communication, and Modbus TCP interface for integration with the facility's SCADA system.
- Provided commissioning support and delivered all related documentation covering metering logic, data mapping, and communications configuration.
